Loren Frame is a Canadian born emerging artist living and creating outside of the Ottawa district. She graduated from St. Lawrence College in the visual arts program and has had her work displayed within its many galleries. Her works has also been bought into private collections;
By delving into the sources of tranquility that resonate with me, I endeavour to convey this serenity to the viewer. Steering clear of harsh lines and overwhelming imagery, I strive to gently invite the viewer into the artwork, guiding their gaze with subtlety and grace, encouraging them to fully immerse themselves in its essence. Whether through the gentle sway of landscapes shaped by soft winds and dappled light, or the evocative emotions portrayed in a subject's portrait, I aim to tap into the viewer's inner peace.
My artistic approach relies on soft, blended brushstrokes that seamlessly meld colours together, creating a harmonious palette that soothes the senses. Vibrant pastels often punctuate the composition, infusing it with brightness and vitality. Emphasizing elegance, I meticulously craft each element—the subject, their posture, and the interplay of light—to establish a fluidity that gracefully guides the viewer's gaze through every nuance of the imagery.
